GILEAD TESTIMONIES In the spring of 2003 I began having pain in my left knee. The pain continued to escalate and result in my having to go to Sparrow emergency. At first I was diagnosed with possible D.V.T. and referred to my personal doctor. The pain continued to escalate and I finally got in to see my doctor in the fall of 2003. I was immediately sent to an orthopedic surgeon for x-rays and diagnosis. The x-rays indicated that I needed knee replacement for the left knee and the right knee would be next. The cartilage evidently was not there in the left knee and that there was deterioration in the right knee.   I asked if there was any way that I could grow tissue back and he emphatically stated NO! Surgery was my only option. The tissue would not grow back. I did not want surgery so I returned to my personal doctor who was resistant to do surgery because of my age (I am older than I look! HA HA).  I told her I was unwilling to have surgery because it would start a “cycle of surgery” since each surgery only lasts about 10 years. She put me on Bextra and suggested I try glucosamine. She indicated that progress would be slow. The pain continued to escalate (it hurt really, really bad). By Christmas 2003 I was taking Advil and Bextra around the clock 24/7.   In the winter of 2004 I was home alone resting and the thought came to me to call Gilead Healing Center and get another opinion. I could hardly walk into the office. I got an appointment with a Gilead Doctor and he explained the injection treatment. I asked two very, very important questions- 1.      Will this be permanent? 2.      Will I be able to wear my high-healed shoes (this of course was the most important). He said yes to both questions and I agreed to begin treatment the next week. (I needed a week to prepare emotionally for the shots). The night before the treatment began (Sunday, Feb 23) I had a dream about the shots. I actually felt how they would feel. It was like tiny pricks/stings. I woke up and told my husband I can do this!!!   I started on Feb 24th and the shots I felt were exactly like my dream. On Friday of that very week (Feb 28th) I had a day without pain!!! It was that day without pain that gave me the motivation to continue the treatment (once a week for about 10 shots) I didn’t count. Today I am pain free-and I can wear my heels!!  Thank God for Mount Hope and the Gilead Healing Center!!!! -Edwina
	Dear staff at Gilead, I want to report a praise for my healing. I was having great difficulty with my hip. The pain would not allow me to sleep and hindered my movement during the day. I went to Dr. Killian. I’ve seen him 3 times. I am now 95% pain free and can sleep without taking medication! God’s power behind the wonderful healing ministry at Gilead has helped me to be a better witness. Thank you Lord!! -Jeannine
	I was a drug addict and alcoholic for almost 17 years. What Japanese prison, drugs, alcohol, physiatrist and judges couldn’t do, God did in one split second. When almost everyone else had given up on me God was just warming up, and my life has never been the same. As a graduate of Teen Challenge I have seen many miracles.   In April 2001 I needed my own miracle after suffering a serious heart failure from too much alcohol and cocaine. My life has turned upside down again after being drug free and alcohol free for over 10 years. I had a pace maker and deliberator implanted but was very sick. I left my home in Ohio to come to Lansing Teen Challenge to be with my friend and fellow graduate from Teen Challenge in 1991, Pastor Jeff Turner. After chapel on day the pastor said 'you should go to Gilead Healing Center', as I walked across the parking lot to Gilead I could feel my faith building inside of me from Pastor Jeff’s message.   As I got there I went to a back room with Pastor Darryl, as Pastor Darryl began to minister to me I felt a shock go through me and I knew something big had happened. Sixty days later at my cardiologist appointment the doctor not only said my heart was normal, but all my other problems were gone also Glory to God.   I am now involved on the medical side of Gilead where, Kelation, diet exercises and prayer has increased the pulse to my feet, and all but healed the ulcers on my feet. The doctor as of last summer wanted to cut more of it off my foot, but I know because of Gilead’s full vision of spiritual, medical, and natural products, my total healing from diabetes is around the corner, thanks to the vision of Pastor Dave, his wife and all the staff at Gilead and Mount Hope Church. -Scott
	Went to her doctor with pain in her stomach. The doctor told her that she had a hernia right behind her belly button. She was told that this would need surgery. Dorothy came to Gilead and had prayer and was anointed. After prayer she no longer felt any pain or tenderness in her stomach. The following week she had an appointment with the Doctor at Gilead Healing Center. He checked her stomach and found no hernia. No surgery was needed; she was healed by the great physician. -Dorothy
